With over 25 years global leadership experience, Darren is an accomplished and respected senior executive from the Power Generation, Oil and Gas and more latterly Aerospace sectors. A proven performer with an extensive record driving business transformation, integration, and turnaround through Operational Excellence & People Leadership. Darren has extensive experience in delivering winning organizations across Europe, The Middle East and Africa.
Darren has a long history of achieving excellent results and delivering incremental team performance. A hands-on leader who thrives in difficult and challenging environments, Darren led all GE Power and GE O&G initiatives in Iraq from 2003 to 2007, building a US$1Bn portfolio of projects in execution. He then went on to lead the GE Power Services business in the Middle East during the power bubble (2007 to 2010) taking the business from US$200M to over US$600M in a 3-year period before moving on to lead the Global Installation and Life Cycle Service Product Line for Gas Turbines. Darren has unique experience leading, transforming and developing teams in post-acquisition and turnaround phases. Recently leading GE’s European activities after the acquisition of Vetco Gray in the Subsea O&G sector. Latterly Darren was responsible for the operational integration and simplification of GE Power’s Repair Solutions Business in Europe post the acquisition of Alstom Power. This included synergising 23 facilities across 13 countries, consolidating the foot print for the future and ensuring the successful transfer of technology between sites and countries whilst delivering an improved customer experience.

Proven capability to switch sectors, adapt, learn and build credibility with pace. A Leader who can deliver corporate best practices in an SME environment. An ambassador for the company externally and a solid customer advocate internally, a respected coach and mentor with high integrity and who drives accountability, collaboration and empowerment.
Most recently Darren working as consultant/Interim MD, led the turnaround of the Trac manufacturing business (part of Chromalloy, Chromalloy is an integrated solutions provider — for original equipment manufacturers, commercial airlines, militaries, oil and gas companies, and power companies — that delivers innovative solutions designed to reduce manufacturing and operating expenses and extend the life of gas turbine engines).

Darren has also led cost centre, functional and product line organizations.
